Flowers of life♥

So today, i was sitting outside. And as you all may now know it is fall (Well where i live here in Kentucky) and everything is dead. The grass has turned into a brutal brown and tan color and all the leaves are on the ground covering up everything that once had life. Its so quiet here and it gives you time to sit and think about all the things that are going through your mind because there are no constant car horns and busy traffic right outside the houses. As i was sitting and thinking about how much i tend to "Stick out" i see this little speck of red popping out from under the leaves in the grass. At first i thought, "Well one of the children around here must have lost their sock." so i go over and attempt to pick up the "sock" when i realize its a beautiful red flower, popping out from under all the dead rubbish, like it wanted to be seen, and that it was proud it made it so far along. That made me realize that i was just like that flower. I technically dont stick out, im proud of the things i do and i want to be seen for them. You arent an "Attention slob" or "Conceited" because you wanna be seen for the stuff that your good at. Your like that red flower saying "Look at me, i've done this and im proud of myself" and theres nothing wrong with that. Thats just apart of life♥
